 *Provide Proof of Non-Expired PALS Provider & Instructor Certification.

 

This Instructor course teaches the methods needed to effectively instruct students in Pediatric Advanced Life Support classes.

                                                    

  • The PALS Instructor has the ability to teach any American Heart Association PALS Provider Initial / Renewal Course.
  • One must have Emergency Medical Experience, & proof of to teach this course Due to Instructor held accountable for teaching correctly - (Liability). 
  • 4 - 5 hours to complete the PALS Renewal Instructor course.

 

Process in becoming an AHA PALS Instructor includes:

  • "FIRST"...Inform Eagle Life Saving you're interested in becoming a new PALS Instructor and discuss a date you want to do the course.

1. Have a current provider card in the discipline you wish to teach.

2. Complete the American Heart Association’s Essential Instructor Course.

3. Successfully complete an instructor course in the discipline you wish to teach.

4. Be monitored by an ELS Training Center Faculty (TCF) member while teaching your first class. This will usually be scheduled on the same day after your instructor course.

                                                                                               

  • After registration & payment of the course, All information in becoming a PALS Instructor will be sent to you in a Confirmation Email at one time.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

  • Choose a date in the future to complete the Instructor course with ELS.
  • Contact ELS for the date you have chosen so one can be created.
  • You will then Click on (Continue with Registration below) and pay for your course.
  • Please check your email and (SPAM BOX) after registration for confirmation of your course.

You are required to have the current PALS Instructors Manual and ALL materials included in it for this course on hand to be monitored and teach a PALS Course at Eagle Life Saving Training Site.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all their courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to these companies per their Program Administration Manual.

* Only those whom have paid for a course are allowed to sit in a class. 

* All AHA CPR eCards will be distributed (Immediately) after successfully completing all that is required and passing the course you choose in its entirety on the same day the course is taken unless an unforeseen circumstance occurs.

* All AHA certifications are in eCard form.
