Adult, Child & Infant are All covered in this course.

Minimum of (4) Group of students attending needed.

ARRIVAL TIME

• All AHA classes start @ 8:45am Unless specified.

• Please arrive 15 minutes early & be in your seat for the start of the class. 

• Start out early if traveling to destination.

• (No late arrivals allowed in class) - So not to disrupt course.

TARGET AUDIENCE 

• The Heartsaver for K-12 Schools course completion card may be provided by AHA Training Center Coordinators to K-12 school students, faculty, and staff who successfully complete an AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Heartsaver CPR AED, or Heartsaver First Aid Course.

• “Faculty” refers to teachers and coaches; “staff” refers to an employee of a K-12 School or K-12 School system

COURSE DESCRIPTION

• This classroom, video-based, Instructor-led course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card in First Aid, CPR, and AED to meet job, regulatory or other OSHA requirements.

COURSE CONTENT

• First Aid Basics

• Medical Emergencies

• Injury Emergencies

• Environmental Emergencies

• Adult CPR and AED use

• Child CPR and AED use along with Infant CPR

• Approximate Class Time: 6-hrs or less based on number of students. 

SCHEDULING FOR - GROUP COURSE

• CALL to set a class date of your choice, & number # of students attending. 

• Have a date & # attending in mind when you call then the class will be created.

• Please bring your 2020 HS Provider Student Manual or the NEW 2020 HS Manual eBook to class if one was purchased or borrowed prior to the course; you will be able to refer to it during the class.
