PALS - (Private) - 1 ON 1 Course!
Bring proof and copy of your (Non-Expired) PALS CPR eCard.
(Only AHA CPR eCards are accepted)
INCLUDES
- 1 ON 1 Exclusive session (ONLY) with students who want more personal class time with instructor, but can't come to the ELS location.
- Training session will be held at your specific location. (TBD)
- Highly trained & skilled Instructor with many years experience & the why's behind the way we do things so one can possibly save a life.
- PALS MP4 Video showing proper treatment for sucessful MegaCode.
- Buddy Badge for referencing the Systematic Approach System.
TRAVEL FEE
- Travel, Set-Up & Tear down fee of $25 is required for an ADD-ON cost during Registration.
- Travel Distance not to exceed (30 - miles) round trip.
- For healthcare providers working in emergency treatment, intensive care or critical care, and other professionals who may need to respond to a pediatric emergency.
DURATION OF COURSE
- Approximate Class Time: 5-6 hours or less.
- Class times can run longer than shown based on students' ability to learn, understand, and apply course materials.
TARGET AUDIENCE
- Physicians, PA's, Nurse practitioners, Nurses, EMS personnel, and Respiratory Therapists.
- For entry into this class, it is highly recommended that students be proficient with CPR, AED's, ECG interpretation, and pharmacology.
COURSE EMPHASIZES ON
- Importance of basic life support CPR to patient survival.
- Integration of effective basic life support with PALS interventions.
- Importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
- The course includes simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader.
- Upon successful completion of this entire course, the students receive an AHA PALS Provider course completion CPR eCard valid for 2 years.

- 1 & 2 Rescuer Child / Infant CPR.
- Automated External Defibrillator.
- Management of Respiratory Emergencies.
- Rhythm disturbances and Electrical Therapy.
- Resuscitation Team Concept.
- Cardiac, Respiratory and Shock Case discussions and simulations.
- Systematic Approach to Pediatric Assessment.

- Students engage in simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation.
- The hands-on class format reinforces skills proficiency.
- Classroom-based works well for learners who prefer group interaction and instructor feedback while learning skills.

- Complete PALS Precourse Self-Assessment test and Precourse Work (Video Lessons). Mandatory to sit in class.

- All classes are Monday through Friday unless filled or unavailable for that day.
- All AHA classes start @ 8:45am sharp.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early and be in your seat for the start of the class.
- Start out early for traveling to destination.
