Class: PALS

I completed a review on google for you. But I wanted to share my experience with you too.
They do say God works in mysterious ways. He certainly does. I was so paranoid about getting the PALS completed this year I finished the class online and with you. It was one of the best classes I have ever attended. Little did I know that just that Next weekend I would use everything you taught me to save the life of an 8 month old who accidentally ingested 2 tablets of Adderall 30mg extended release. I certainly used everything I learned when his heart rate increased well over 180. I stayed right there at the bedside doing everything I learned, even used the ice bag technique. Lights dimmed, tv off, cooling methods, removed parents from the room and continued to decrease every form of stimulation. A few hours after the Adderall peaked and using everything I learned in your class he finally started to turn around. His heart rate started to decrease, he started drinking juice on his own, 2 major IV boluses like we talked about, continuously checking temperatures, vitals, and labs. And then he started cooling down, cooing, making good eye contact, had 3 big wet diapers, and the heart rate just kept trending down and down. Before you knew it he returned back to a normal baseline and all vitals normal for an 8 month old. I received the best compliment tgat morning from his father. He simply said “Thank you. Thank you for saving my son’s life.”

But I wanted to say thank you to you.
Thank you for being such a great instructor, working me in for class that day and teaching me everything you did.
See you next year!

Hi Greg
Thank you and Cindy for your kindness. I really appreciate that you took the time to listen to me and share a little bit of your wisdom.

Here is my testimony so you can posted in your website:

"Teaching that impacts is not head to head, but heart to heart" (Howard G.Hendricks). That is how Eagle Life Saving teaches their courses. They truly love teaching others and making sure that you understand and that you feel confident to respond to emergency situations. I recommend them 100%.

This my second CPR renewal but my third class here, and each and every time, I learn something new. Cindi is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and full of tips! And of course, the technology here is state of the art- with TV screen monitors/simulation devices to measure compression depth & rate- I won’t go anywhere else for my BLS/ACLS. Thank you Cindi for the CPR face shields!

Class: ACLS Class

I have been a nurse for 20yr’s I kid you not! I attended this class with "Eagle Life Saving" and it felt like it was my first time ever taking ACLS. For one the instructor covered material I actually needed and understood. He added no fluff or useless information. I felt confident, informed and well-prepared to run a code when I left. I would encourage anyone to take their ACLS class with Eagle Life Saving. Most important it was affordable I really can’t say enough good things about my ACLS class with Eagle Life Saving. I live far away but, it was worth the driveSandra

It was great catching up with y’all today. I just want to say thank you for teaching me so much over the years. I feel confident in my ability to run a code and save a life because of all you’ve taught me over the last 6 years. This was the first time I’ve had the pleasure of working with your wife, and she was just as fantastic!! Please thank her for me. I’ll see y’all in November for ACLS.

Classes: BLS, ACLS & PALS

I am a nurse of 49 years and I have taken numerous AHA courses. BLS, ACLS and PALS. This was by far the most accommodating.  The instructor tailored to each individuals learning needs in a small group setting.  The environment was clean and comfortable.  The equipment and visual aides were state of the art. A great experience...

PALS Class

Okay, so I have to brag about Eagle Life Saving, LLC. It is a company at a home base in Allen, Texas that teaches BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc. The owner, Greg, is a former RT turned Dallas Firefighter/Paramedic at one of three top busiest stations in Dallas. He was also a Filght Paramedic. He is smart as all heck, experienced and is really great at teaching. If you truly want to learn the skills for the aforementioned certifications, ELS is the place to go! I’ve been going since 2016 (today makes the third visit) and each visit, I’m amazed at how much I don’t know 😂 So, go learn some stuff 📚

PALS Class

Highly recommend this course! (I took PALS). Greg is an excellent teacher and does a great job at making the material enjoyable and tailoring it to your experience level and position in health care.

It is very hands-on which is a nice change from the other courses that just stick in a DVD and then hand you a test at the end. I will be back for all of my BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Also, the AHA ecard was in my email inbox within minutes of passing the test - this was greatly appreciated since I had to get it to my hospital's credentialing department by the end of the day.

ACLS & PALS Classes

Thank you for excellent classes on 3/13 and 3/17.

I took both ACLS (recert) and PALS (new cert) classes from Mr. Whiteley in March of 2020 and was extremely pleased in all areas of his instruction, presentation, and explanation! It was great to learn new things and have other things more clarified, even after having been ACLS certified for 16 years!

With his background as a paramedic/firefighter, and respiratory therapist, he really knows his stuff thoroughly! Once you take Greg's class, you will NEVER want to go back to online recertification again! I am looking forward to also taking his ECG class, just for "fun", to understand it all in better detail!

BLS Class

Eagle Life Saving LLC is a great facility. I signed up using the AHA website and picked what was most convenient for my schedule and wallet. I was taken aback by the location being in a residential neighborhood when I arrived. I didn't know this was a "home training site", (it does say it on their website) when signed up which might have deterred me from picking this facility. If that happened and I went somewhere else I would’ve made a huge mistake.

Greg and Cyndi are incredible at what they do, both have their own style of relaying information to students, but both are equally effective. Both Greg and Cyndi are over-qualified to teach these basic skills but do it because they want people to have this knowledge.

Cyndi and Greg make learning easy. I didn't have to second guess what I was doing if I listened to their instructions closely. Because of this I passed my certification test no problem.

I am working toward a future in health care and have family with heart issues, after receiving my BLS certification from the AHA I feel confident in my skills. When the situation arises, and I need to save a life I will command the scene put my skills to use.

I don't believe I would’ve gotten the level of quality I received at Eagle Life Saving LLC if I went to a different facility. In turn I don't believe I would have left feeling prepared to save a life even if I received my certification from AHA.

I implore everyone to get their certification from Eagle Life Saving LLC.

I recently completed my AHA Heartsaver First Aid / CPR / AED skills session with Greg Whiteley.  Greg and Cyndi go above and beyond in their teaching.  I received personalized instruction and learned numerous tips and techniques for providing high quality first responder care.

This was my second time using Eagle Life Saving for my skills check, and I will continue to use them for all of my first aid training needs in the future.

For anyone looking for exceptional medical instruction and certification, I would highly recommend Eagle Life Saving LLC.

The strength of this course is how Cyndi brought in the practical, how she taught me how to check for pulse and breathing, trained me for a (2) Rescuer CPR on adult, child and infant, which is valuable to know.  The AHA Heartsaver DVD did not.

Thank you for taking the time to show and teach all the importance of 1 and 2 Rescuer CPR and to think outside the box in different scenario settings that you presented in class.

Instructor: Greg

The classroom setting is small, educational, and you get extensive hands on experience.  I’m a Hospitalist and I run CPR Codes.  Taking this BLS skills session gives you the confidence and the foundation of running an organized code.

Greg is passionate and goes way beyond the teachings that you get from a book. He also brings his past experience into the scenarios to where you have to think quick on your feet and think outside the box.

As an MD., I prefer this type of learning.

I like the in-class method because of how detailed my instructor was and the Q&A sessions.

I have done both online and a classroom setting.  I prefer a classroom setting such as this.  This class was very hands on which is a huge strength for me.

I have taken this in the hospital and learned nothing. Greg does smaller classes that way you get time to ask questions and he helps you understand things even being confident in running a MegaCode. Even when it came time to take the written test, Greg gave me plenty of time to take it. I learned more here that I ever had in the hospital. I will go nowhere else when I have to renew my CPR cards. Greg is fantastic

ACLS

Instructor: Greg

Greg,

I am a hands on learner. I like being able to see and do what I am learning. To me, being able to not only understand but able to perform our duties as healthcare providers correctly and effeciently is specially very important. I was very nervous about this class, especially wth the ECG's. And this class exceeded my expectations from the first step into a home like environment and feeling so welcome to understanding all aspects of ACLS! Greg, you were awesome in helping me understand how to not only provide ACLS, but also obtain skills that will last a lifetime. You are very passionate about what you do and I am very thankful for being a part of it!

Will see you at renewal...

I perfer this company. Other companies or hospitals just run you thru and you dont learn anything but yet you get a card. Just having a CPR card does not mean you know how to run a code or do CPR. At Eagle Life Saving you will learn and be able to run it in class and be apply in the real field. Greg makes sure you know it in a simple way. Learn from a Paramedic..... Best PALS, ACLS & BLS clourses ever.

Everything about Greg’s teaching was perfect! I’ve been to other ACLS classes in the past and learned absolutely NOTHING from the instructors.  Greg’s method of teaching is passionate, informative, and concise.  He brings his years of experience into the class, class set-up is great, and incorporates great technology which makes it realistic.  Other instructors would tell the students pretend this, pretend that, but not in Greg’s class.  Provides a good amount of hands on training.  Loved it, loved it!

I previously have taken online and I felt very unsure of my skills but after taking this ACLS course in a classroom I feel confident and that I'm prepared. I really enjoyed the realistic large ECG monitor that was used during the MegaCodes, as well as the Systematic Approach Board that kept me on track during the codes.

I think online courses need to be replaced with mandatory in-class courses. Online does not prepare you and can cause more harm to the patient. I recommend Egle Life Saving to anyone & everyone who wants to learn and learn how to do it right.

Thanks again for such a high yield class. I have the opportunity to take these for free through Children's Health or the hospital I work with....and they are not even close to being as great! Worth every penny and this class taught me so much! Appreciate what you do! 6/4/18

I took the Heartsaver CPR, AED class 3 years ago and it was nothing compared to Heartsaver K-12 School with Cyndi.  Cyndi was very informative and I had a lot of hands-on training.  Everything about this class was good!

Cristina-Teacher

 5/16/18

Heartsaver First Aid, CPR and AED class with Cyndi was great.  She brought practical learning into the course and taught important information on how to use the resources around us to assist in maintaining an open airway at all times for adult, child and infant as a 1 Rescuer.  She didn’t limit us in the teaching.

Cyndi taught us how to check for pulse in adult, child and infant.  AHA video did not.  The video briefly showed a 2 Rescue CPR, however Cyndi felt we needed to know 2 Rescue CPR on adult, child and infant and using AED, even though it was not part of our skills test.

Cyndi took the time for the hands on learning until we felt comfortable and confident in doing a 1 & 2 Rescuer CPR.
